The Gender Equity Strategy 2010-2015 has been developed to assist the University in meeting its aspirations with the understanding that Monash staff play a key role in becoming one of the world's best universities. Creating an organisational culture that is inclusive and in which female staff participate equally at all levels will contribute to our effectiveness at teaching, learning and research, and will help the University in its pursuit of excellence.

The Working Group on Teaching Activity and Teaching Excellence has developed a draft set of education indicators that aim to: reflect Monash University's educational strengths and priorities; and allow staff to demonstrate their attainment of educational goals in a way that reflects agreed disciplinary, interdisciplinary and faculty strengths and priorities.
Monash University recognises and rewards staff through the 25 Year Service Award. Staff who have worked at the university for at least 25 years will be honoured at a ceremony in July 2010
